I strive to create designs that require minimal effort. For example, when designing a wallet, I start by sketching out the size of a bill. Then, I build the design around the concept of how to best enclose it. I try to avoid imposing my own arbitrary design choices on the final product. I often incorporate letter motifs into my designs because I believe that the shape of an envelope, which has evolved through historical selection pressures to contain paper (like banknotes), is a highly rational design.
